Business Development Manager
Location: Belgium (Full-time)

A day in the life of a Business Development Manager:
- Start your working day between 8 and 9 am and organise your day efficiently.
- Research industrial customers with purchasing departments in Belgium to add new prospects to your list, including some international customers.
- Develop a list of existing customers and contacts.
- Plan and book appointments based on the list of suspects, prospects, and existing customers, checking the status of outstanding orders and last contacts.
- Plan international business trips for upcoming trade fairs in consultation with the Business Unit Manager.
- Engage with important customers to understand their experiences and future plans, anticipating their needs and linking them to the technical expertise within Connect Group.
- Consult with the Business Unit Manager for up-to-date information on business activities.

- Deep interest in the technical side combined with commercial skills.
- Energized by negotiations in an international context.
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch, very good knowledge of French and English, both written and spoken; able to negotiate in those languages.
- Expert in analyzing market data.
- Solution-oriented thinker.
- Driving licence B.
- Knowledge and/or experience in the world of subcontracting is an asset.
