The Opportunity

The Insurance Transformation team supports insurers and brokers during the complete lifecycle of their transformation projects - from ideation to implementation and maintenance. We are looking for experienced profiles that can take up the role of product manager for life/non-life insurance products.

Key Responsibilities

Within the Insurance Transformation team, you will collaborate with our clients to understand the challenges they are facing and help implement innovative solutions. You will also contribute to the continuous development of the team itself and EY as a whole.

As a product manager consultant in our insurance practice, you will:

  1. Support insurers in the launch of new insurance products or with a profound update of the existing product offering;
  2. Help our insurance clients automate and enhance underwriting, via better risk selection through the use of open data, quantitative information provided by actuaries and your knowledge of the Belgian insurance market;
  3. Leverage on your helicopter-view of the insurance sector to support colleagues in a wide variety of other projects in the insurance sector, ranging from claims transformation to defining a broker target operating model.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  1. Professional experience as insurance product manager on the Belgian market;
  2. Native Dutch or French speaker, with an excellent knowledge of business English;
  3. Adventurous and entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for insurance products;
  4. A team player with a can-do mentality;
  5. Loving the challenge to connect with different people in an organization (from expert to C-suite);
