Function:


We're seeking a Senior Project Leader to guide a high-impact integration project for our client, a leading medical laboratory group in Belgium.


This role involves the strategic merging of two laboratories into our client's existing framework to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery across their extensive network.


Responsibilities:

Project Management: Lead the complete migration and integration of core business processes including logistics, pre-analytics, lab analyses, quality control, clinical validation, reporting, billing, and government interactions.

IT and Systems Integration: Oversee the transition of IT infrastructure to include network enhancements, multi-lingual system updates, and the integration of laboratory machines into the existing Laboratory Information System (LIS).

Training and Development: Coordinate comprehensive training programs for all staff on new processes and systems, ensuring smooth adaptation and continuity.

Stakeholder Engagement: Manage communications and training for physicians using the client's portal, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of new technologies.

Key Tasks:

  • Ensure seamless migration of historical lab data and full integration into the client's IT network, including telecommunications and call center operations.
  • Implement the transition of the public site to standard technologies while integrating a robust physician and patient portal.
  • Supervise the linkage of the client's physician network to these new systems.
  • Oversee the archival of old systems and the migration of essential quality assurance software to a new data center.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Dutch and French is required.
  • Ability to travel frequently to various lab locations (Liège, namur) as part of the role.
  • Proven experience managing complex change projects, preferably within the medical sector or clinical biology.
  • Initially 2 days per week, increasing to 4 days per week from September.
