De werking van het Nationaal Controlecentrum wordt grotendeels bepaald door een energielandschap dat voortdurend verandert (integratie van hernieuwbare energiebronnen en decentrale productie, opkomst van nieuwe marktspelers, sluiting van centrale productie-eenheden, toename van internationale energiestromen, bevoorradingszekerheid, ...), verder ook door een wijzigend regelgevend kader (Europese netcodes, regelgeving met incentives, strategische reserve, ...) en door de groeiende integratie van de Europese elektriciteitsmarkten (evolutie van de internationale marktkoppelingsmechanismen, toename van de commerciële uitwisselingen op korte termijn in Europa, nieuwe grenzen met Luxemburg, Duitsland en het Verenigd Koninkrijk, ...). En tegelijkertijd zien we dat ambitieuze investeringsplannen worden uitgevoerd om een elektriciteitsnet te ontwikkelen dat al deze wijzigingen kan opvangen.

Om aan al deze uitdagingen zo goed mogelijk het hoofd te bieden, is het Nationaal Controlecentrum opgedeeld in 5 departementen: Energy Scheduling & Balancing; Operational Planning; Real-Time Grid Operations; Emergency, Projects and Processes; Power System Operations & Security.

Als marktingenieur zal je deel uitmaken van het departement Energy Scheduling & Balancing, met het Energy Scheduling Office.

Concreet zal je volgende taken vervullen:

Je waarborgt de veiligheid van het net dicht bij real time door de productie en het verbruik op het Belgische net in evenwicht te houden en te evalueren welke preventieve en curatieve maatregelen moeten worden genomen om over de nodige reserves te beschikken, alsook de nationale en internationale financiële impact in te schatten en de risico's voor het net. Je volgt de productie in België op (bijv.: bij storm) en beheert de aanvragen van de marktspelers op lokaal en internationaal vlak. Als marktexpert beheer je en verzeker je de werking van de internationale intraday- en balancingmarkten. Dat doe je via voorspelllingstools voor de productie, beheerstools voor de reserves en beheerstools voor de lokale en internationale uitwisselingen. Verder sta je in voor het beheer van de uitwisselingscapaciteiten op korte termijn aan de grenzen (intraday en balancing) en zorg je voor de opvolging van de marktkoppeling en het productieplan. Je volgt de bevoorradingszekerheid in België op en activeert de strategische reserve indien nodig. Je staat in voor de publicatie van verplichtingen m.b.t. de goede werking van de markten (intraday, balancing, ...). Je werkt samen met de ingenieurs in real time en dicht bij real time als je de analyse day-ahead en intraday maakt, om te beslissen over de wijzigingen in het productieplan. Daartoe voer je geregeld een aantal taken uit (met de tool voor het realtime netbeheer) of door wijzigingen voor te stellen aan het productieplan of door de spanningsregeling op te volgen. Je bent betrokken bij en volgt de noodprocedures op in situaties waarbij het net erg onder druk komt te staan (overgang naar 'emergency status').

Jouw profiel

Je hebt een diploma van industrieel of burgerlijk ingenieur of gelijkwaardig door ervaring. Je hebt een goede kennis van het Belgische en Europese elektriciteitsnet en/of van de energiesector en de huidige uitdagingen in de energiewereld. Ervaring in de elektriciteitssector is een pluspunt. Je spreekt minstens 3 talen: Nederlands, Frans, Engels. Je bent bereid om te werken in shifts 24 uren op 7 (extra premie). Je blijft rustig in stresserende situaties. Je werkt graag in teamverband.
