YOUR contribution:
Context
Within the Short-term Power as-a-Service (SPaaS) platform of GEMS, the Power Scheduling (PS) desk supports a large range of internal and external customers in Europe.
Role
You will contribute in supporting a large range of internal and external customers in Europe by
- Providing market access : Acting as a centralized window to the European Day-Ahead auctions _( Energy, capacities, reserves);_
- Ensuring the balance of positions and relevant nominations towards TSOs (energy/capacity) for the different legal entities of the Group active on European Power markets.
Key missions
- Contributing to the operational activities of the desk, taking part to the rotating 77 "on duty" scheme.
- Ensure a transparent logging of all transactions in the deal capture systems in use;
- Respect the contractual, regulatory and compliance frameworks at all times;
- Ensures the operational followup with the objective to continuously improve the processes;
- Contribute to projects;
- In the context of power market evolution, power scheduling activities have to evolve to tackle efficiently the market changes:
- Accompany the activities automation where relevant and make proposal to monitor thoroughly the automated tasks;
- Propose and build alternatives by simplifying/digitalizing processes and tools where relevant;
- Accompany the desk in its transformation

Education and professional background
- Master degree in a relevant quantitative discipline (Engineering, Economics, IT, etc);
