De EHS leader van Chemours Belgium heeft de amibitie om een stevig uitgebouwd veiligheidsbeleid te ondersteunen en te verbeteren in een bedrijf waar holistic safety en verantwoord produceren belangrijk zijn.
Als EHS Leader ben je een change agent en gebeten door continuous improvement op het gebied van EHS, maar je denkt ook kritisch mee om andere zaken in de Operations Unit en in Chemours België continu te verbeteren.
Onze EHS leader heeft de rol van Preventieadviseur en is het hoofd van de Interne Dienst Preventie en Bescherming op het Werk. Eveneens neemt de EHS leader ook deel aan het CPBW als secretaris.
De rol van de EHS leader gaat verder dan alleen maar Preventieadviseur zijn. Chemours Belgium is een "Great Place To Work" en als EHS leader speel je ook hier een grote rol. Met jouw expertise op vlak van veiligheid en gezondheid, kan je actief meewerken aan projecten om het welzijn van onze medewerkers te verbeteren. Bij Chemours is holistic safety zeer belangrijk. Het is niet alleen van belang dat medewerkers fysiek safe zijn, maar zich ook psychologisch veilig voelen. Dit doe je samen met de HR Manager en de rest van het management team.
Uiteraard kijken we naar jou om de wettelijke vereisten en taken die behoren tot de rol van de preventieadviseur op te nemen. Je ondersteunt de implementatie van standaarden, procedures, EHS programma's, best practices op de site via de lijnorganisatie.
Je hebt daarbij een brede kennis en interesse van veiligheids-, milieu
- én gezondheidselementen. Met die kennis informeer en begeleidt je het management team en het site leadership team om de juiste beslissingen te nemen.
Je connecteert in onze drie locaties Mechelen, Kallo en Brussel met al onze medewerkers en je bouwt vanuit de Mechelen site een stevig netwerk uit in onze firma op Europees en globaal niveau. Ook extern weet je je weg en heb je de juiste contacten bij de overheid en lokale gemeentebesturen.
Onze EHS leader ontwikkelt, organiseert en faciliteert veiligheidstrainingen voor medewerkers en contractors en wordt ook ingeschakeld bij het uitvoeren van zowel interne als externe audits.
Je volgt actief de wijzigingen in de wet
- en regelgeving en ondersteunt de implementatie hiervan.
Kwalificaties:
- Opleiding: preventieadviseur niveau 1, of niveau 2 en bereid de opleiding tot niveau 1 te volgen, of een afgeronde Bacheloropleiding
- Ervaring als veiligheidsdeskundige
- Opleiding als milieucoördinator is een plus
- Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en organisatietalent
- Sterk in change management, beïnvloeden/onderhandelen
- Luistervaardig met empathische skills
- Proactief
- Talen:
- vlot Nederlands spreken en schrijven
- vlot Engels spreken en schrijven
