**De functie**:
**Rol en verantwoordelijkheden**
- Je geeft visie/begeleiding over alle dimensies van het data governance kader van de NMBS (data operating model, data rollen & verantwoordelijkheden, data governance organen, business glossarium, data catalogus, data kwaliteitsbeleid, data privacy beleid,...) - je zorgt ervoor dat het kader is afgestemd op de strategische doelstellingen en behoeften van het bedrijf.
- Je ontwikkelt het data governance-kader van de NMBS in samenwerking met alle relevante business
- en IT-stakeholders
- Je communiceert en legt het data governance kader van de NMBS uit binnen de business en IT
- Je biedt de nodige ondersteuning, coaching en opleiding aan de business en IT tijdens de roll-out van het data governance kader van de NMBS - je hebt speciale aandacht nodig om ervoor te zorgen dat de business hun nieuwe (operationele) rollen begrijpt (data owner, data steward)
- Je daagt proactief (de realisatie van) het data governance kader uit om het te laten evolueren waar/waar nodig.
- Je leidt en neemt deel aan data governance communities binnen en buiten de NMBS.
- Je volgt de data governance activiteiten op en zorgt ervoor dat de data governance deliverables en informatie van goede kwaliteit en up-to-date zijn - in het bijzonder monitor je de informatie in de data catalogus en data quality tools.
- Je besteedt bijzondere aandacht aan de governance van masterdata.
- Je rapporteert en pakt alle problemen met data governance aan die bijzondere aandacht nodig hebben.
- Je beoordeelt de gegevenskwaliteit op ondernemingsniveau en stelt duidelijke actieplannen op om de behoeften aan te pakken,
- U identificeert problemen met gegevensbescherming en stelt corrigerende maatregelen voor.
- Je stelt verbeteringen voor inzake data literacy en je geeft trainingen waar/waar nodig.

**Vereisten**
- Je hebt aantoonbare ervaring met data governance, datamodellering, gegevensbescherming en privacy by design activiteiten in een groot bedrijf
- Je hebt aantoonbare expertise in business en functionele analyse
- Je hebt basiskennis in Enterprise Architectuur en Data & Analytics
- Ervaring met toonaangevende tools voor gegevensbeheer en -governance is een pluspunt
- Je hebt een masterdiploma of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
- CIGO, AAIM of gelijkwaardige certificering is een pluspunt
- Je hebt een data-driven mindset
- Je kunt complexe situaties analyseren en realistische doelstellingen bepalen om een bepaald doel te bereiken
- Je kunt regelgevende en technische informatie samenvatten en presenteren aan
- niet-technisch publiek
- Je stelt eisen ter discussie en biedt alternatieve benaderingen
- Je hebt kennis van risicogegevensarchitectuurmethoden en gerelateerde technologische oplossingen
- Je hebt uitstekende schriftelijke en mondelinge communicatievaardigheden
- Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands, Frans en Engels (actieve kennis van Frans of Nederlands)
