With a market share of around 25%, Luminus offers a complete range of commodity & energy service solutions to help our customer to decrease their invoice & carbon footprint.
As Manager collections & final dunning you are responsible for overseeing, executing and optimising the B2B payment and debt recovery processes.
You will lead the collections and final dunning team and will work closely together with the sales and financial managers in order to minimise our debt, risks and cash exposure.
You are responsible for developing comprehensive debt collection strategies to improve overall collection and debt performance.You leverage collection and dunning management software and tools in order to streamline processes, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance overall efficiency.
Furthermore you ensure adherence to all relevant collection laws, regulations, and company policies to minimize compliance risks.
You are responsible for the organization, coaching, monitoring and development of the collections and final dunning team team (7 FTE's) and the associated budget for all related activities.
You are a leader and mentor for the team, coordinating seamless collaboration between departments, fine-tuning processes, ensuring financial stability and risk control.
Team leadership:
You lead and mentor a team of service agents, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. You set clear performance goals and expectations, providing regular feedback and coaching to enhance team productivity and professional development.
Workforce management:
You utilize workforce management techniques to ensure optimal staffing levels, skill development, and efficient resource allocation. You prioritize collections efforts based on factors such as account value, age, and payment history.
Customer Interaction:
You work closely with customer service teams to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the collections process.
You manage a portfolio of large high risk accounts.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
You collaborate closely with the sales and legal team to ensure timely and accurate follow up and resolution of payment issues and disputes.
You engage with finance and service teams to manage financial risk (credit) and operational exposureData Analysis and Reporting:
You monitor collections and dunning metrics and performance indicators, generate regular reports to evaluate team effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
You utilize data insights to recommend strategic adjustments and drive informed decision-making.Process optimisation:
You evaluate and refine existing collections and final dunning processes to increase efficiency and accuracy. You develop and implement standardized procedures and best practices to streamline workflows.
- You have a
bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred). - You have
proven experience (> 10 years) in sales support, credit, collections or related roles. - You have
min.
5 year experience in managing teams:
- You have proficiency of
CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and
Microsoft Office Tools. - You have proficiency in Sap Software, experience with other financial or accounting tools is a plus.
- You have a
customeroriented attitude. - You have strong
analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends, translating insights into actionable strategies. - You have outstanding
interpersonal and
communication skills and you are able to connect seamlessly across departments and with clients. - You are
proactive and able to
make decisions. - You are
flexible (constantly responding to new priorities) and able to thrive in a fastpaced, changing environment. - You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
