Position Description:
"Successful digital transformation begins on the outside with an understanding of digital consumer behavior, preferences and choices. It then leads to major customer-centric changes within the enterprise. It is more than taking existing processes and presenting them in app form. It goes to the very heart of the business and requires deep digital adoption."
The pace of digital disruption in banking and insurance is picking up speed.
Unprecedented shifts in consumer expectations for services, increased demand for digital access, and a high propensity among consumers to switch banks/insurers, coupled with disruptive competition from new entrants and technology start-ups.
If you are overwhelmed about the digital evolutions and the complete spectrum linked to that, having a healthy interest in business and technology, then we need to talk.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Lead or support workshops to identify the client strategy and to model business and functional processes;
- Out of the box thinking;
- Create business cases and present to upper management
- Identify areas of improvements and quick wins and prioritize these according to what is relevant for the business;
- Define business solutions and its providers;
- Advice customer about which approach must be taken for managing the implementation project;
- Define the roadmap;
- Act as business SPOC/product owner during the mission and for the business departments with regards to the implemented processes
- Responsible for the reporting and elaborating documentation to be delivered
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Business knowledge
- Experience in banking and/or insurance sector
- Project management and business analysis methodologies
- Understand and design business processes
- Omnichannel knowledge
- Client oriented mindset
- Causeeffect analysis
- Understands organizations and its drivers
- Can see the overall picture
- Result oriented
- Quality minded: ability to excel
- Willing to change context regularly
- Experience in an agile way of working
- Advance presentation and communication skills
- Fluent speaker and writer (Preferably trilingual: Dutch, French, English)
- Organize and lead workshops for different audiences: business, IT, operational, strategic, etc.
- Good relationship skills, team player
- Adapts quickly and easily
- Can communicate with business and IT people
- Can work independently and seek own information
- Knowledge of BPMN and UML
- Interest in market evolutions
- Knowledge of RUP, SCRUM, ARIS
