Je bent het relationele aanspreekpunt voor een portefeuille van International Trade Finance klanten ('commodity traders') en fungeert als expert internationale handel voor Corporate Banking klanten. Door jouw grondige kennis van financiële instrumenten zoals documentaire kredieten en bankgaranties, je begrip van de complexiteit van grensoverschrijdende transacties en de daaraan verbonden risico's, voorzie je begeleiding en advies aan klanten over hoe ze hun internationale handelstransacties kunnen structureren en dit zowel op vlak van risicomitigatie als optimalisatie van hun werkkapitaal.

**De job in een notendop**

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse relationele opvolging van International Trade Finance (ITF) klanten.

Je belangrijkste taak is het aanbieden van financiële oplossingen aan klanten die betrokken zijn bij internationale handelstransacties en dit in overeenstemming met alle toepasselijke wet
- en regelgeving.

Je team bestaat uit financiële experten binnen het domein van trade finance producten zoals documentaire kredieten, incasso's en bankgaranties en jouw rol hierin is zowel sturend als uitvoerend.

Een typische werkdag ziet er als volgt uit: na het analyseren van de evoluties van de grondstoffenprijzen en financiële markten ga je aan de slag met de opvolging van je ITF portefeuille. Dit betekent dat je op basis van de up to date kasstromen en zekerhedenposities van de klanten nieuwe transacties goedkeurt en structureert volgens de delegatiebevoegdheden en in overleg met je collega's van het ondersteunende Customer Support team Vervolgens ga je proactief op klantenbezoek bij een Corporate ter bespreking van de import of export van goederen. Na je bezoek bel je een aantal ITF klanten terug ter bespreking van toekomstige transacties en werk je verder aan een commerciële nota in het kader van een kredietverhoging. Er is regelmatig overleg met andere stakeholders binnen Transaction Banking (Cash Management, Belfius Commercial Finance), Corporate Banking, Risk en Compliance.

**Jij hoeft geen witte raaf te zijn**

Al kan je er bij ons wel één worden. We zoeken vooral een straffe persoonlijkheid met een learning mindset.

Bij ons mag je volop je vleugels uitslaan als je iemand bent met:

- een universitair diploma (met voorkeur voor juridische of economische richting) en/of werkervaring binnen Transaction Banking (vb. Trade Finance, Belfius Commercial Finance) of Corporate Banking
- interesse in handelsfinancieringsproducten en -diensten, waaronder documentaire kredieten, incasso's en bankgaranties
- kritische en analytische geest met het vermogen om de krediet-, compliance en ESG risico's van internationale handelstransacties te beoordelen. Hierbij is een gezonde interesse in geopolitieke en macro-economische trends een belangrijke troef
- organisatietalent, oog voor detail en zin voor probleemoplossend denken
- ambitie om deadlines te halen in een snelle en veeleisende omgeving
- uitstekende communicatieve en interpersoonlijke vaardigheden, met het vermogen om relaties op te bouwen en te onderhouden met klanten en interne stakeholders

Je scoort extra met:

- drietaligheid (Nederlands/Frans/Engels), andere talen zijn zeker een plus
- een basis in kredietanalyse en -structurering.
