Job Position Purpose / Summary
Reporting to the EMEA G/L Team Leader you will be in charge of general accounting and statutory reporting activities, and coordination of all tax preparation and declaration for several EMEA entities.
Job Position Accountabilities / Expectations
- Ensure timely and accurate legal entity reporting on a monthly basis, completing the monthend close in 3 business days
- Manage month end accrual management and departmental costing processes, including the analysis of key variances, providing timely and accurate management information
- Manage journal entry review processes to ensure adequate procedures are in place to fulfil internal control requirements
- Proactive Balance Sheet oversight and ownership: ensure account reconciliations are being performed timely and accurately in accordance with SOX controls
- Timely and accurate tax reporting, filing and overall compliance in the area of direct and indirect taxation with support from global team and external partners in countries
- Develop strong working relations within the corporate management reporting teams and with EMEA backoffice to ensure the fulfilment of Finance objectives in providing worldclass business process support
- Actively participate in special projects as assigned or through individual initiative that meet the needs of the business and to enhance efficiencies and streamline processes and control procedures through LEAN and other CI initiatives
- Manage or backup all EMEA related treasury activities to ensure an efficient process. Built a good working relationship with the financial intuitions account manager. You are the SPOC for all bank related matters within the EMEA region.
