Our client provides global payment services to Payment and Fintech companies. They are both an Acquirer and Issuer offering global payment services to businesses and individuals worldwide.
As the business enters an exciting period of growth they are hiring exceptional people and are now looking for a Finance Manager with payments experience to join the growing team.
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, as well as managing the day-to-day accounting functions of the business for projects based in Brussels.
You will work closely with the Financial Controller and other senior leaders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, support strategic decision-making, and drive financial performance.
Day to day you will:
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and related disclosures
- Analyze financial results and key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leaders to support strategic decisionmaking
- Manage the daytoday accounting functions of the business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
- Support the Financial Controller in identifying and mitigating financial risks and opportunities
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leaders, department heads, and business unit leaders
- Manage a finance analyst providing guidance, training and mentorship.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA designation preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and communicate financial information to nontechnical audiences
- Strong management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial reporting systems.
