Position Overview
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Materials Controller at one of our customer sites. You will take responsibility for supporting us with inventory management, storeroom management, and chemical tracking activity, and we are offering this role on a Full-Time permanent basis
Working Hours:
Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (7 am-7 pm)
Week 2:
Wed, Thur (7 am-7 pm)

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Perform all customer sitespecific tasks as per relevant SOW and SOP's.
- Receive inbound deliveries and deal with courier queries and discrepancies.
- Responsible for handling hazardous material and preparing shipping documentation and packaging requirements as required this includes Reviews and reconciles of expiry date issues, duplicate shipments, shipment overages, wrong goods received, and no charge replacements.
- Communicates with suppliers as required for proof of delivery, as well as Monitor and help resolve all material and capacity issues to achieve 100% on time delivery.
- Daily cycle counting & Inventory Management.
- Pick, pack and put away of inventory.
- Generating and circulating reports.
- Working closely with Laboratory teams and ensuring good customer service.
Experience Required
- Secondary School completion or equivalent.
- Experience working in a warehouse or inventory controlrelated field is a plus.
- Confident and comfortable working independently as part of a larger team.
- Good working knowledge in MS office suite (Excel, Access, Word), comfortable with working with computers
- Full clean drivers license.
