Function:

Department**We are looking for a Senior IT Project manager within the program and project management department who manages the project managers within Mutual IT.


The IT Project manager will manage different type of projects within an infrastructure environment (Windows upgrade, rad hat, interfaces,) and will focus on the result, timeline & budget.

The IT Project Manager will mainly interact with internal teams & departments. The focus is on the PM-skills rather than a strong technical background.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the projects delivery is made according to the schedule, budget, scope and quality.
  • Define timeline and mile stones of the project.
  • Managing the risks and issues related to the delivery.
  • Clarifying highlevel scope and the technical synergies between the different subprojects.
  • Ensuring the compliance to standards and best practices across all projects.
  • Managing a team of internal staff and/or external contractors.
  • Be proactive in proposing technical solutions and innovations.
  • Reporting progress, issues, risks etc. to the customer and to the program manager.

Secondary Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Promote project management activities through positive and constructive networks.
  • Deploy and develop an active and consistent communication with different stakeholders.
  • Conflict management (tech and nontech).
  • Facilitate the operational functionality of the project groups and other stakeholders.
  • Define the roles and responsibilities of the project teams and other stakeholders.
  • Followup on possible change and deliverables related feedback from the customer on continuous bases.
  • People management & team coaching & training

Technical profile requirements:

  • Master Degree in Computer Science OR equivalent through experience.
  • Good knowledge of IT Infrastructure & Development environments
  • Agile minded.
  • Certified PRINCE2, PMI, or equal by experience

Non-Technical profile requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
  • Quick learner, motivated selfstarter
  • Result oriented & customer centric
  • Structured / Organized
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
  • High accountability and team spirit values
  • Good coaching & training skills

Language proficiencies:

  • Native French or Dutch + basisknowledge of the other language
  • ENG

Contract:

  • First contract of 6 months, extension till min. end of 2024 is possible

Location:

  • Min. 2 days/week onsite presence in Anderlecht is mandatory
