Aluk has a long-term commitment to rolling out the new business process & IT landscape to all existing and future Aluk BU's over the next couple of years.


To help AluK in successfully achieving this strategic high level objective, and to drive future roll outs of our corporate business process excellence platform, we are looking for a Business process analyst to join our International Business process excellence competence center.


Role


As a team member of the Business Process competence center, you will provide expert support and guidance to the business.


In a proactive and agile approach, the competence center team will analyse business needs and suggest the most ideal solution using the ERP best practices mindset.


Reporting directly to the Competence center team lead, your key responsibilities will be among others:

  • Understand the details of the Business Processes related to the whole end-to-end business flows.
  • Have a good understanding of how business process changes impact other business processes of the company
  • Proactively analyze and identify improvements & solutions
  • Map Business Processes to ERP technologies and associated best practices.
  • Write Functional and technical Specification / configuration and training documents.
  • Work together with our ERP implementation partner for externalized configuration, development and expert support work
  • Do minor to medium ERP configuration in support of changing business requirements or BU rollouts
  • Review documentation & training material
  • Support and lead tasks in an agile way
  • Provide support and advise on business requests & incidents
  • Identify and solve problems using analysis, experience, and judgment
  • Perform analysis and effective diagnosis of our business unit issues
  • Help and advice in selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific internal business requirements

Profile

  • English is a must. Any other European language will be a strong asset, in particular, French, Dutch and Italian.
  • Team player mindset
  • Willingness to grow your business process knowledge
  • Interest in technical or functional side of maintaining and continuously improving an ERP system
  • Demonstrate interpersonal and leadership skills with an ability to consult with senior leadership and influence without authority.
  • Able to work autonomously, be selfdirected and organized; able to manage responsibilities for multiple, simultaneous initiatives
  • Outstanding communication skills: ability to deliver information in clear, concise, and relevant manner both in a written and oral format
  • Strong problemsolving and out of the box thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced, ever changing environment
  • Ability to travel up from 25% to 50% of your time depending of the phase of the project.
