Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting (TAA) is looking to recruit an experienced Associate Director - Head of Go-to-Market to join our European Product Management organization, reporting directly into the VP of Product Management.

This is an exciting time to join our team as we look to accelerate our Cloud development across Europe.

  • The Head of GTM is responsible for governing the European GTM vision and strategy, aligning to the TAA divisional and European Governance. Translations in line with the Countries Strategies and in accordance with the GTM standards will also be required.
  • Defining, driving, and ensuring a standard GTM strategy and process across Europe
  • Tracking, measuring and management of different Go To Markets in close collaboration with the countries, contributing to longterm strategic plan and to deliver on short term revenue and profit targets.
  • Setting and supporting local pricingstrategies, using best practice, for each European Cloud product with the local TAA Europe countries.
  • Helping to define Business Cases (Volumes, revenues, costs) for each European Cloud product in close collaboration with the local TAA Europe (TAAE) countries, including reporting and benchmarking.
  • Define local brandingstrategy for cloudoffering and govern to the TAAE and corporate branding guidelines.
  • Support the local GTM planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Go To Market
The Head of GTM will be responsible for formulating the strategy for the given areas of GTM and will be working closely with the PM organisation as well as with country PM Teams to ensure GTM standards are met

For example:

  • Financial impact of new Cloudofferings/Invests on local P&L in the countries.
  • Local Online-Marketing and Sales strategy and activities:
  • Local Sales organization e

  • Develop Capabilities for selling cloudsolutions.
  • Align local commissionsystems to (new) cloud offerings.
  • Align Salesperformancemanagement and measurement to cloudofferings.
  • Local Support organization, e.g. Define/Challenge support organization (1stlevelsupport) in the countries with regards to cloudofferings.
  • Work out best practices for integrating local supportsystems with needs coming from cloudofferings.
  • For each European product, align it with European Last-LevelSupport.
  • Alignment on Product-Marketing.
  • Centre of Excellence
  • Embed governance models, frameworks and guidelines across the communities to ensure consistency and alignment in our approach and execution.
  • Maximize on the value of experience and expertise and accelerate in local execution by learning from the successes, challenges and focus areas of others.
  • Embrace and celebrate our communities' talent, fostering a culture of open and honest feedback and collaboration.
  • Future proof our business through succession planning and developing our leaders of tomorrow.
  • Set clear annual milestones and objectives for the community
  • Branding
  • The Head of GTM is responsible for creating and maintaining the Branding Guidelines for TAAE aligned to divisional and corporate guidelines.
  • Domain / market knowledge
  • To keep up to date with market knowledge and legislation where required ensuring you actively listen to and observe what is going on in the market and specifically within each country.
  • Market analysis and Product opportunity
  • Understand the competitor products and look for ways that Wolters Kluwer is differentiated to competition currently or could be in the future and highlight the benefits associated with this differentiation.
  • Stakeholder management
  • Work with the MD's and Product Managers within the countries.
  • Be Visible within the Countries and attend their MT meetings to share progress and gain feedback.
  • Align with Director of communications TAAE.
  • Align with Divisional and Corporate Guidelines.
  • Reporting
  • Regular verbal, written reporting and presentations required as agreed.
Your skills and requirements

  • Previous experience with GTM Methodology.
  • Strong Project Management Methodology required.
  • Articulate and able to communicate, facilitating ideas and solutions with teams across the business, providing presentations, clear and concise written reports, explaining difficult technical concepts to all audiences so that they understand, embrace and follow through. (essential).
  • Comfortable engaging with colleagues, third parties & customers at all levels of seniority
  • Present in front of large audiences.
  • The ability to work effectively across multiple functions and organisations, facilitating, influencing and working collaboratively, securing agreement and ensuring delivery of agreed outcomes.
  • A true leader someone who others will buy into and respect as a driving force behind the projects they are accountable for.
