Your responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Functional Analyst (employee or freelance) are

  • Translating customer/business needs into detailed functional analyses
  • Monitoring of technical analysts and developers
  • Estimation of the required workload
  • Review and analysis of "requests for change".
  • Analysis of the impact of proposed solutions
  • Description of test scenarios, preparation of test data and organization of test execution in close cooperation with the Test Coordinator.

Your required skills and knowledge

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst with deep technical interest
  • Previous experience as a developer is welcome
  • Strong knowledge of UML
  • Knowledge of BPMN
  • Experience in analysis for projects developed in an Object-Oriented environment (Java or.
NET environment)

and knowledge of:

  • Scrum/Agile is a must
  • Work permit in Belgium

Mandatory: Languages: French and Dutch (at least a very good understanding of the second language) and English

and a plus with the following knowledge/experiences:

  • WebServices REST, SOAP, Open API
  • XSD, XML, XSLT, XPath, XQuery
  • SQL (queries,..)
  • Jira, Confluence
  • Waterfall methodology (Prince2, PMI,...)
