Lees vooral verder want de kans is groot dat jij de geknipte persoon bent voor de functie control room operator/dispatcher in ons regionaal controle centrum te Merksem

Vanuit deze locatie kom je achter de schermen te zitten waarop het volledige Belgische hoogspanningsnet gevisualiseerd wordt. Met behulp van deze visualisatie behoud je het overzicht over de verschillende hoogspanningsposten en de verbindingen hiertussen. Dit alles gebruik je vooral om onze techniekers op het terrein aan te sturen zodanig dat zij in alle veiligheid hun projecten of onderhoudswerkzaamheden kunnen uitvoeren. Maar ook voor het bewaken van de kwaliteit van de afgeleverde energie naar onze klanten toe en het afhandelen van onverwachte incidenten. Je merkt vast al dat de verantwoordelijkheden die op jouw schouders gaan rusten immens zijn. Jij zorgt er immers mede voor dat de stroom ten alle tijden blijft vloeien, zowel bij de mensen thuis alsook in de grootste bedrijven die ons land rijk is. Ook onze techniekers vertrouwen erop dat ze mede door jou aanwijzingen dagelijks veilig en wel terug thuis komen.

Maargeen nood, Elia voorziet uiteraard een uitgebreid, langdurig maar vooral zeer interessant opleidingstraject. Deze bestaat uit klassieke opleidingen, terrein stages, oefeningen op simulatie en learning on the job. Je kan ook steeds bij je ervaren collega's terecht voor vragen en ze houden een oogje in het zeil. Stapje voor stapje wordt je geprepareerd tot een echte hoogspanningsnet expert en ben jij de persoon die vol vertrouwen ervoor zorgt dat het licht in België blijft branden.
Jouw profiel

Graduaat/hogere technische studies in elektriciteit of gelijkwaardig door ervaring;
Meerdere jaren ervaring in een dispatchingdienst is een pluspunt (alarmbeheer, incidenten, beveiligde communicatie, monitoring,...);
Stressbestendigheid;
Affiniteit met IT-tools en courante toepassingen (Word en Excel);
In staat zijn zorgvuldig en zelfstandig te werken;
Je werkt graag in teamverband;
Communicatief zijn;
Leergierigheid;
Bereid om in ploegendienst te werken;
Kennis van het Nederlands is een pluspunt.
