Senior Cost Manager at

In this role you will:
- Lead a team of Cost managers in the provision of the following:
- Produce full quantities measure /estimates to provide client with detailed budgets
- Actively participate in the tender/bid process from initial tender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting
- Analyse tenders/bids to ensure client value for money
- Negotiate and agree costs with trade contractors in line with budgets and detailed design
- Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including the handling of any claims to ensure the client gets best value from works undertaken
- Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicate variations to the client
- Support quick and clear client decisions through excellent cost management documentation and timely communication
- Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency
- Foster top performance and growth for team members via excellent mentorship and leadership
- As a discipline lead you will work with the overall team lead in reviewing resources, client priorities and reporting processes.
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have a degree or comparable experience in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Have at least 5 years experience in cost management with varied contracting strategies
- Have sector experience within Data Centres, Oil and Gas, Pharma or Heavy industrial projects
- Have leadership qualities
- Have excellent reporting, IT, written and verbal communication skills
- Work well in a team environment, bringing the team on the journey to deliver a quality service to the client.
- Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines
