Assembly Manager

Als Assembly Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagdagelijkse werking en output van de afdeling. Dit omvat onder meer het toezicht op het complete assemblage proces, erover waken dat alle producten voldoen aan de strenge kwaliteitsnormen en dat deze tijdig en correct naar onze klanten worden verzonden.
De ideale kandidaat heeft ervaring met het aansturen van een team van montagemedewerkers, ervaring met kwaliteitscontrole en productie in een maatwerk
- en projectomgeving. Zelfstandig werken wordt gecombineerd met een oplossingsgerichte aanpak en initiatieven om de workflow te optimaliseren. De Assembly Manager rapporteert hierbij rechtstreeks aan de Managing Director.
Verantwoordelijkheden:
Beheer van de assemblage van producten voor verzending in coördinatie met externe leveranciers, onze interne verkoopteams en onze project managers.
Ontwikkelen en implementeren van plannen om de efficiëntie te verhogen. Het opstellen van rapporten over productiviteit, kwaliteit en andere statistieken. De Assembly Manager werkt nauw samen met ons engineering departement om samen nieuwe productie methodes te ontwikkelen.
Bewaken van stockniveaus om ten allen tijde te kunnen voldoen aan de gevraagde leveringstermijnen.
Invoeren van kwaliteitscontroleprocedures voor een veilig en efficiënt verloop.
Het geven van feedback aan medewerkers en aan andere departementen (engineering, aankoop, verkoop) over mogelijke aanpassingen aan het product en/of het proces.
Voortdurend trainen en evalueren van medewerkers en het creëren van een werkomgeving die de betrokkenheid en output van de werknemers stimuleert maar ook een positieve teamsfeer bevordert. De Assembly Manager ziet toe op naleving van de company values en de verwachte kwaliteit van werken en stuurt bij waar nodig.

Talenkennis
Naast een grondige kennis Nederlands druk je je vlot uit in het Engels
Jouw ervaring:
Bachelor's degree in industriële wetenschappen, bedrijfskunde of aanverwant vakgebied
5+ jaar ervaring in een assembly
- of productiemanagementrol
Bewezen staat van dienst in het behalen of overtreffen van productiedoelen middels uitstekend leiderschap
Aantoonbaar vermogen om effectief te werken in een snel veranderende omgeving
Sterk begrip van Lean Manufacturing-principes, Six Sigma of andere methodologieën voor procesverbetering
Ervaring met ERP/MRP systemin
