Our estate planning team advises domestic and international clients on all aspects of family estate law and estate planning, such as matrimonial and cohabitation property law, inheritance law, gifts, wills, civil law, company and legal entity law and inheritance, gift and registration tax.

Together with our experienced colleagues, your role consists of providing legal and tax advice and drawing up legal documents and agreements in implementation of this advice, as well as managing a small team and initiating actions to further expand our estate planning practice.
Your duties include:
- Solving complex issues for all aspects of family estate law and estate planning, in an international context as needed (private international law);
- Working out tax optimisation options for the transfer of assets;
- Answering miscellaneous questions about family estate law and estate planning;
- Calculating inheritance tax;
- Drawing up various deeds and agreements tailored to specific clients, such as gifts, wills, partnership agreements, foundation deeds, etc.;
- Preparing declarations of inheritance;
- Giving internal and external presentations and training;
- Expanding your internal and external networks;
In addition, you are responsible for tracking legislative and other developments in relevant legal fields and writing articles on estate planning for websites and publications.
What do you bring to the table?:
- You have a Master's degree in Law, preferably with an additional degree in Tax, Notary Law and/or Company Law;
- You have at least seven years of relevant professional experience relating to estate planning at a notarial practice, specialised consultancy or law firm; You are passionate about estate planning;
- You have a dynamic personality, are driven, committed and pragmatic
- Your proficiency in French is excellent. Active knowledge of Dutch and English is an asset;
- You have a healthy amount of assertiveness;
- You are sociable;
- You are a team player with strong written and spoken communication skills;
- You are proactive, act with integrity and enjoy taking initiative and responsibility.
