Duties/Responsibilities

Lead supply chain activities for EMEA region and savings opportunities for Commercial Fire.
Manage overarching direct & indirect supply activities for $200 M+ worth of spend across EMEA region (1 European DC, 1 manufacturing point located in Poland

  • Ropczyce, 2 R&Ds centers Gdanks
  • Poland and Barcelona
  • Spain and multiple sales business units. Develop key strategies, standards and processes to ensure supply continuity, material productivity, employees engagement, and synergies between sites.
Develop and execute supply management strategies meeting business needs through:

  • Full market knowledge, trends, new technology: finished products, contract manufacturing and PCB/PCBA)
  • Bestinclass supplier relationships (> 400 direct vendors OEMs/CMs, OVPs for EDC and Poland )
  • Outstanding teamwork with central commodity team, operations, commercial, quality, engineering, finance, etc.
  • Manage daily tactical activities to support manufacturing continuity
  • Lead transformation with effective change management
  • Take ownership and followthrough on cost, quality and delivery commitments
  • Utilize problem solving skills and insistently attack problems facing the business
  • Provide site leads, managers and buyers with guidance, direction, and solutions
  • Manage material and logistic productivity, payment term improvement, ontime delivery, lowcost country sourcing, dualsourcing, contracting, and supplier rationalization working with site leads to drive monthly action items targeted to achieve a minimum of 5% productivity
  • Provide input and business idiosyncrasies to global commodity / category leaders
  • Work with the commodity team for supplier selection and implement sourcing decisions
  • Develop a consistent $1,19 M Schedule B and Material Categories negotiation pipeline with Commercial Fire site engineering leads and Global Category team to ensure Commercial Fire sustainability and cost optimization
  • Act as a strong team player to drive global initiatives, generate value, achieve financial commitments and oversee productivity project uploads in PSR and WAVE
  • Negotiate and award purchase orders/contracts in support of new product launches and existing production requirements
  • Lead continuous improvement and standardization events across sites
  • People leader direct responsibility for sourcing managers and buyers.

Provide coaching, mentoring, leadership, and guidance:
coordinate EMEA site leads teams

  • Support localization, crossfunctional transfer of works and operations strategy programs to ensure mínimal impact to customer on time delivery during transfer timelines.
  • Develop and collaborate on the strategic plan for Commercial Fire with the VP GM of the business
  • Assist and drive additional activities to achieve 2024 Commercial Fire objectives per VP GM direction

Lead operations and logistics M&A action items for Project Crown, Project Noel and Project Indigo for EMEA region.

  • Manage supply chain & operational separation activities in coordination with the local EMEA sites, M&A team, EY consultants for Project Noel & Indigo
  • Execute direct & indirect contracts disentanglement strategy in coordination with the local EMEA sites, M&A team and EY consultants for Project Noel and Indigo
  • Represent EMEA supply chain & operations and collaborate with key stakeholders and EY representatives to support and finalize deal close & cutover dates for Project Noel and Indigo
  • Develop detail Project Crown, Noel and Indigo supply chain & operations workplan to prepare for legal entity separation (LES)

Lead Global PCB/PCBA Category and CMs strategy

  • Manage global PCB/PCBA Category spend of $25M+
  • Drive material productivity initiatives to deliver 5% target results
  • Manage global CMs strategy and support TOW activities
  • Liaise with site leads globally to deploy category strategy, consolidation and localization activities
  • Lead global RFQs activities
  • Support shortages, new supplier introductions and specific requirements by site

Continue driving day to day coordination, coaching, and development across EMEA sites:

  • Prioritize and manage people, projects, and resources to optimize efficiency, productivity and quality for successful on-time delivery, warehouse optimization, systems optimization and drive lean, sustainable practices throughout the organization
  • Support implementation of disentanglement strategies, greenfield opportunities, and Transfer of Work initiatives to drive shortterm and longterm business objectives.
  • Continue driving day to day coordination within the department and share the Carrier Way values
  • Track and report out to executive and senior leadership on project progress and financials including but not exclusive to PPV savings, working capital impact, total landing cost reduction, and tariff mitigation.
