Areas for responsabilities:

  • The Supply Chain Manager organises and controls the procurement, planning and dispatch departments in order to optimise production flows in line with the objectives defined by the plant manager. He also manages all aspects of logistics and handling outside the site.
  • It improves ontime delivery through OTIF (On Time In Full) and PCA (Plant Commitment Adherence) indicators
  • It reduces workshop transit times, while optimising workinprogress stock levels
  • It improves forecasting and compliance with production capacities (S&OP process)
  • It improves the forecasting of internal customer requirements (S&OP process)
  • It improves the adequacy between the S&OP and the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
  • It eradicates supply shortages by analysing their root causes
  • It reduces stock levels (raw materials, semifinished products, workinprogress
  • Formalise Action Plans, ensure that they are followed up and that resolution dates are respected,
  • Identifies, analyses and remedies deviations in key Supply Chain indicators (stock, OTIF(s), lead times, costs, overstocks, etc.)
  • He/she analyses complaints and nonconformities related to Supply-Chain activities and leads corrective and eradication actions with the teams.
