Mission and Key Tasks:


As a Corporate Learning & Development Specialist you ensure that learning & development and onboarding become a strong and visible component of the Ontex culture and a key enabler to realize the organizational goals.

You support Ontex' competency management and development participate in corporate talent related activities based on the business and HR strategy.


Main tasks

  • Together with the HRIS team, develop, train and sustain the global learning & development platforms (SSFF, LiL) for optimal use by our employees and business & people leaders
  • Manage and drive a successful and effective Learning Management System (LMS) for all capability building initiatives across all divisions and functions.
  • Codevelop the L&D strategy and related processes and procedures, aligned with the organizational goals, to build a learning culture.
  • Codevelop and deliver global and/or functional learning curricula relevant to critical business initiatives and functional needs in partnership with the business and by coordinating internal workgroups to deliver the L&D roadmap.
  • Develop tools and learning solutions for leadership and career development, ensuring that employees and managers know what skills to develop and how to address competency gaps:
  • Create and maintain soft skills learning paths and collections in partnership with business leaders
  • Support the business in creating hard skills learning paths and collections
  • Create skills mapping and assessments
  • Develop and train various learning methods (elearning, workshops, classroom etc)
  • Ensure that learning and development initiatives globally are delivered in the most efficient way, taking into account financial constraints and quality system requirements.
  • Leverage data & analytics to diagnose gaps, identify opportunities to improve learning programs and implement change to ensure learning portfolio products are current and relevant
  • Lead and followup on global onboarding process. / Ensure that policies and procedures are followed
  • Implement and drive change management
  • Contribute to Corporate talent related initiatives as per the strategic plan
  • As active part of the Corporate Talent Team, you ensure the link between the L&D activities, Talent Acquisition activities and performance.

Background and Experience:

  • Master degree, preferably in HR Management or psychology, or equivalent by experience / Bachelor degree
  • At least 3 yrs experience in Talent development, with focus on L&D, in an international, fast paced and customer driven environment
- knowledge of learning technologies, including learning management systems, virtual classroom delivery tools, and learning development software (such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, screen capture, and audio/video technology)

  • Experience in content design, development, and training delivery.
  • Experience in competency management and skills assessment methodologies and tools is preferred
  • Expertise in learning methodologies to support learning development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent business English
  • Good interpersonal skills
