We are looking for a Pilot Plant Technician (grade C) to join us in our organization based in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium .

About the role:

As a Pilot Plant Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for supporting UCB 's NCE in the Pilot Plant. Your work will directly impact the development and production of life-saving therapies.

What you will do:

Operational Support : Safely and efficiently support operations within the pilot plant (technical and GMP), ensuring compliance with GMP guidelines and industry standards. Formulation Processing : Collaborate with your scientific colleagues to schedule and execute formulation processing experiments. Document experimental procedures, record results, and develop comprehensive reports. Technical Expertise : Operate and maintain pilot plant equipment, troubleshoot issues, and propose follow-up actions based on experiment outcomes. Safety and Quality : Adhere to safety protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to quality control efforts. Collaboration : Work effectively within a team, communicate across departments, and support process engineers.

For this position you'll need the following education, experience and skills:

Work experience

Production or Pilot plant experience & knowledge on GMP –minimal 5 years of experience

And / or education

Technical bachelor (like lab / process technology)

Skills

English / French – both average level (talking & writing) IT skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel & Power Point) Basic chemistry, mechanics, electricity & mathematics

Soft skills / Personality

Accuracy: Work independently. Proactive Flexible Able to work under time constraints

A propos du poste :

En tant que technicien dans une unité Pilot, vous ferez partie d'une équipe dynamique chargée de soutenir les projets NCE d'UCB. Votre travail aura un impact direct sur le développement et la production de thérapies vitales.

Ce que vous ferez :

Du Soutien opérationnel : Vous serez chargé(e) d'assurer la sécurité et l'efficacité des opérations au sein du pilot plant (techniques et GMP), en veillant au respect des directives GMP et des normes de l'industrie pharmaceutique. De la formulation : collaborer avec vos collègues scientifiques pour programmer et exécuter des process en lien avec le développement de formulations, enregistrer les résultats et élaborer des rapports complets après la réalisation des expérimentations. De l'expertise technique : exploiter et maintenir en bon état les équipements de pilot plant. Solutionner les problèmes techniques mineurs et proposer des mesures de suivi en fonction des expériences réalisées. De la sécurité et de la qualité : respecter les protocoles de sécurité, maintenir une documentation précise et contribuer aux efforts de contrôle de la qualité. Des collaborations : travailler efficacement au sein d'une équipe, communiquer avec les autres services et soutenir les ingénieurs de procédés.

Pour ce poste, vous aurez besoin de la formation, de l'expérience et des compétences suivantes :

Expérience professionnelle

Expériences en production ou en usine pilote et connaissances des règles GMP - minimum 5 ans d'expérience

Et / ou formation

Baccalauréat technique (comme laboratoire / technologie des procédés)

Compétences

Anglais / français - niveau moyen dans les deux cas (à l'oral et à l'écrit) Compétences informatiques (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel et Power Point) Connaissances de base en chimie, mécanique, électricité et mathématiques

Compétences non techniques / Personnalité

Précision Travail indépendant. Proactif Flexible Capable de travailler avec des contraintes de temps
