Functie:

  • Expanding the current customer installed base by visits and prospecting systematically existing and potential customers.
  • Detecting projects and creating opportunities for existing and potential customers.
  • Sending out proposals according to the set internal procedures.
  • Collecting market data and communicating this information to the Business Manager Big Equipment.
  • Promoting and selling maintenance contracts, in coordination with the Customer Care Manager.
  • Maintaining regular contacts with all customers from their region, and inquire into customer satisfaction.
  • Participation in and reporting on national and international symposia and conferences, and following up of the generated leads.
  • Keeping continuously up to date the CRM data for customers/prospects in the allocated region (contacts, accounts, opportunities), and keeping the funnel data on track.
  • Preparing the funnel for the monthly meeting with the Business Manager Big Equipment.
  • Organize reference site visits for his (her) prospects in coordination with CMSE.
  • Formatting Site Planning requests when needed.
  • Setting up project kickoff meetings for tenders of Big Equipment, assigning tasks to the respective colleagues.
  • Managing and coordinating the tender process, and monitor the deadlines of tendering procedures in consultation with the Sales Assistant and the Product Specialist.
  • Preparing answers to tenders together with the Product Specialist.
  • Setting up project handovermeetings during which the sold project is explained, and transferred to the Service Department.
  • Sharing information, obtained during training sessions or meetings of CMSE or elsewhere, to colleagues.
  • Propagation of Canon values by the necessary attention to its image, e.g. by adequate wearing, clean company car,...
  • Working closely in a team with the Business Manager, the Application Specialists and Service Engineers.

Profiel:

  • 5 years sales experience in a medical environment is required
  • He/she needs to have organizational skills and sense of administration
  • Perfect knowledge of the Dutch language (spoken and written), he/she must have a thorough knowledge of English (and French) for international communication.
