**Position Description**

**Introductie**

De Volvo truckfabriek in Gent is de grootste vrachtwagenfabriek van de Volvo Group wereldwijd. Elke dag assembleren bijna 3000 collega's hier trucks van topkwaliteit. Zo staan innovatie en continue verbetering standaard op onze agenda, en dat al van dag 1. Wij geloven dan ook steevast in de filosofie van Lean Manufacturing, waarbij aandacht voor kwaliteit, veiligheid en het milieu onze top prioriteit zijn. Onze site vandaag kent heel wat verschillende afdelingen, maar een ding hebben we allemaal gemeenschappelijk: passie voor wat we doen.
Het Volvo Fitting Center is op onze Gentse site verantwoordelijk voor het fitten van banden en velgen tot wielen. De geproduceerde wielen gebruiken we voor eigen productie in Gent, maar worden ook geleverd aan de vrachtwagenfabrieken in Tuve, Kaluga, Blainville en enkele busfabrieken in Zweden en Polen. Specifiek voor deze afdeling zijn we op zoek naar een supervisor.

**Ontmoet jouw team**

Als supervisor van het Volvo Fitting center coach je samen met jouw teambegeleiders een team van +/- 30 medewerkers. Samen coördineren en organiseren jullie de activiteiten op een gestructureerde en efficiënte manier, steeds met de nodige zorg voor de medewerkers.
Zelf maak je eveneens deel uit van een team met gedreven professionals waar je steeds terecht kan voor advies. Het meest nauw zal je samenwerken met je collega supervisor die verantwoordelijk is voor de andere ploeg alsook de engineer van het Fitting Center.

- Je staat in voor de dagelijkse operationele leiding van het Volvo Fitting Center. Je coördineert en organiseert de activiteiten op een efficiënte manier zodat er flexibel kan ingespeeld worden op wijzigende omstandigheden.
- Door je medewerkers te coachen en motiveren dragen jullie op een veilige manier bij tot de vooropgestelde doelen
- Je stimuleert je team om enerzijds de richtlijnen rond veiligheid, kwaliteit, ergonomie en milieu te volgen en anderzijds verbeteringsvoorstellen te doen. Zij zijn tenslotte de experts. Zij hebben de kennis, jij de gedrevenheid om hen hierin de autonomie te geven en te ondersteunen waar nodig.
- Je team laten groeien door de juiste begeleiding en opleiding te bieden, vormt de essentie van jouw job als leidinggevende.
