_ We are looking for a experienced IT Divisional Commodity Manager to join our team. You will provide essential support to multiple divisions within different Compressor Technique (CT) companies, specifically in the procurement of software and IT services. By using supplier improvement capabilities and consolidating volumes for core IT commodities, you will contribute to the divisional targets and ensure global operational excellence._

Reporting to the Sourcing Manager Indirect and IT, your responsibilities will include:

  • Commodity Strategy Development:
  • Collaborate with internal customers to understand the main value goals of CT divisions for each commodity.
  • Organize commodity team meetings to develop balanced commodity strategies aligned with the needs of customers across divisions.
  • Procurement and Quotation Management:
  • Translate technical requirements into functional specifications and send quotation requests for IT solutions (hardware, software, etc.).
  • Analyze offers and prepare award documents.
  • Be the IT-SPOC for all departments.
  • Maintain contact with other IT purchasing departments at the group level.
  • Contract Management:
  • Launch and monitor the implementation of awarded IT contracts in collaboration with the legal department.
  • Negotiate prices, modalities, conditions, and contracts for IT goods and services.
  • Ensure competitiveness and equality of contracts with suppliers and IT service providers.
  • Supplier Management:
  • Source and identify service providers.
  • Stay updated on the latest technoligy evolutions and market trends.
  • Organize and lead followup meetings with suppliers.
  • Monitor compliance with the purchasing procedure and maintain balanced customersupplier relationships.
  • Depending on your knowledge, there might be a possibility to get first experience in leading a small team.

What we are looking for:

  • Master in industrial or economic sciences or equivalent through experience
  • Have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a commercial position.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of or affinity with the IT sector to gain good product knowledge quickly.
  • Result and serviceoriented mindset.
  • Confidence to take the lead in projects.
  • Understand our business requirements and convert them into solution designs.
  • Adherence to deadlines and budgets.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Social and empathetic team player.
  • Ability to bring committed partners together around common goals.
