At Labcorp Drug Development we are looking to recruit a
Partnership Solutions Manager.
The Partnership Solutions Manager is the primary operational and service liaison between Central Lab Services and the assigned client. The role is accountable to deliver early engagement activities including consultation, operational feasibility, standardization and efficiency. The Partnership Solution Manager will work from a sponsor site and report into the Alliance Lead.

Job responsibilities include:

Advance and deliver early engagement activities including but not limited to:

  • Act as a consultant to scientific or study delivery resources to increase efficiency
  • Drive client decisions to enable accelerated study delivery
  • Review draft protocol to ensure feasibility
  • Make recommendations that improve study design and logístical effectiveness
  • Develop standards and ensure compliance across portfolio
  • Facilitate key scientific meetings to resolve issues, enable decisions or discuss new methods
  • Establish and own process to track value of early engagement activities
  • Provide a concierge type service to all levels of client staff including science, study delivery, data managers, and affiliate personnel (e.g.
, Client partner laboratory):

  • Establish trusted relationships and effective communication channels throughout partnership network
  • Proactively submit specific request in preparation of protocol finalization and study setup
  • Inperson attendance at setup, kick off meetings, applicable planning meetings, and checkup or process improvement meetings.
  • Facilitate calculation of blood volumes
  • Ensure optimal levels of client satisfaction are achieved

Facilitate budget management and issue resolution:

  • Create a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and productivity through consistency in global partnership processes and procedures
  • Remove certain lab related responsibilities from the study teams
  • Monitor, track, manage and ensure resolution of all issues and concerns
  • Support implementation, monitoring and reporting of performance metrics and drive corrective action and/or process improvement as appropriate
  • Support efforts of team members to meet commitments, ensuring all client expectations are documented and delivered as expected
  • Educate and train study teams on Covance services and processes
  • Educate Covance staff on client culture, processes, and ways of working
  • Establish crossfunctional mechanisms to increase communication, accountability, and understanding of deliverables globally

Experience and education:

  • BS/BA four (4) year degree (or equivalent) in medical, technical or laboratory related science
  • Minimum of 3 years industry related experience
  • Good knowledge of and experience in clinical studies and central lab services
  • Proven experience in strong client/relationship building
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills and client expertise
  • Excellent written, verbal, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, organizational, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated a high degree of initiative and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Fluent in English.
