Job description:
This assignment concerns a framework agreement with one service provider for the hiring of a Senior Application Manager .NET. Together with other colleagues, this person will make adjustments/extensions to existing applications, manage these applications and migrate them to recent servers and versions. This person ensures that his applications and the related business processes function optimally. Communicates and connects smoothly with the users, developers and analysts, system administrators, service desk employees, etc.
This involves:
Accurately follows up on incidents.
Analyzes a problem or new question and offers solutions himself.
Makes adjustments to the applications himself or coordinates with the other developers.
Test and document adequately.
Schedule, organize, and coordinate the delivery of new releases with everyone involved.
Supervises colleagues and supports them where necessary with specific expertise. Coaches junior application managers.
Optimizes the ITIL process together with colleagues
Manages the roadmap (functional and technical) of a number of applications, and follows up on budget and planning together with the .NET manager.
Competences and skills:
- You enjoy working with colleagues and in a team
- You speak and write Dutch fluently
- You have the necessary documentation skills towards the business and the team
- You are analytical
- You communicate in a way that is tailored to your interlocutor (customer, other teams, technical, functional and mgmt profiles, etc.)
- You can work independently, in an organized and planned way
- You can provide guidance and coaching to junior application managers in the team
- You have at least a higher education degree and you have at least 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Additional relevant training and certificates are a plus.
- You have the required experience with agile and scrum working, and work with Confluence and Jira
- We test the candidate's experience on the basis of the following skills:
- C# (multiple versions)
- Data access: connection to SQL databases
- In-depth knowledge of SQL (CTEs, stored procedures, views)

- Experience in the division of labour within a team of min. 5 people, and management of +20 applications
- Working in the government environment
