Our client is a global player headquartered near Paris. They specialize in high-tech IT products, network systems, and components. The site in Leuven houses an R&D and production department with 60 operators. To reinforce the corporate quality department of the local branch in Belgium, specifically in the Flemish Brabant region, we are looking for a quality manager.
Job Description
The global quality division consists of 7 team members working from various locations. The quality coordinator based in Leuven will be responsible for further developing local quality policies, certification, safety, and workplace prevention. Additionally, they will participate in corporate quality projects and implement them locally.
Responsibilities of the quality manager include:
- Close collaboration with local R&D and production managers to ensure their activities meet the highest quality standards
- Hands-on approach: drafting new business procedures, quality reports, etc., and communicating them to customers, suppliers, and other departments
- Obtaining ISO9001 certification for the site in alignment with the group's global certification
- Securing ISO14001 certification for all activities at this location
- Implementing actions stemming from the ISO27001 certification of the company
- Supporting corporate initiatives and projects and ensuring global processes are implemented
- Participating in the internal service for prevention and protection at work and engaging in OSH committees
