At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Integration Architect to join our UniQue team in Brussels.

What will you be bringing to the team?

  • Design, plan, implement integration strategies and patterns in a JEE/HTTP secured ecosystem
  • Design and document APIs to be exposed in a secured manner on a public facing API Gateway
  • Design, implement and document business events to be easily produced on a corporate eventstreaming platform
  • Design, plan and document workflows: business process definition and task definition (service or user tasks) relying on APIs and business events
  • Work in a container based infrastructure
  • Design of architecture components and building blocks
  • Analysis of the integration of different information systems
  • Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
  • Production of software architecture documents
  • Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users

Requirements:

What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • Have a minimum a Bachelor's degree in IT.
  • Have at least a 14 years of professional experience
  • Good knowledge of HTTP and API design
  • Good of JEE and REST or SOAP APIs
  • Excellent knowledge of at least one BPMN workflow engine
  • Good knowledge of asynchronous communication and publish/subscribe techniques and technologies: Apache Kafka, JMS
  • Excellent knowledge of integration testing best practices
  • Good knowledge of distributed or microservice architectures and complex event processing
  • Good knowledge in Web security, OAuth2.0 and OpenID Connect
  • Participation in open source projects
  • Experience in a large enterpriselevel multiteam project
  • Ability to produce IT architecture document about complex integration patterns
  • Ability to give technical presentations
  • Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture
  • Good knowledge of Relational DBMS
  • Excellent knowledge of business process analysis
  • Considered an advantage:
  • Certificates in one of the following: JEE, Business Process Management, workflow patterns, microservice architectures and patterns, Domain Driven Design, Enterprise Integration Patterns, Complex event processing, API design and security
  • Experienced with Developer 11g will be considered advantage
  • Familiarity with BPMN 2.0 standard is considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with activity workflow engine is considered an advantage
  • Experienced with WSP (WS-Security Policies) is considered an advantage
  • Experienced with Oracle Service Bus 10.3 si considered an advantage.
Proficiency in English language
