Tree Energy Solutions (TES) is a green hydrogen company supplying carbon-neutral energy on-demand at industrial scale.
The aim is to become a global leader in the future energy space and to provide Europe with renewable, affordable, and secure energy to diversify supply options and to help achieve the Net Zero agenda.
TES's prime objective is to accelerate the energy transition by leveraging existing technologies to reach customers with green hydrogen, green gas and green power to accelerate the phase-out of fossil fuels and to adopt a circular carbon economy.
To deliver on its ambitions TES is currently building a world class top management team. In parallel the organization is growing from 50+ employees today to several hundred by the end of next year.
What you will do:
As an Electric Power Development Manager you will work closely with senior management as part of Power Department and will be responsible for:
- Managing and building relationships with key stakeholders in the power industry;
- Developing and managing the consortium around TES' first clean power plant in Wilhelmshaven;
- Managing our power needs of our energy parks:
- Overseeing our strategic partnerships with power plant technology providers;
- Developing Power Purchase Agreements & Go To Market strategies;
- Integrating new business opportunities like landing of offshore wind power, power intensive data center
Location:
Zaventem/Belgium, Hybrid working
Who you are:
- Several years of experience in the power industry;
- Comprehensive knowledge of the European Power and Ancillary Services markets;
- Utility scale renewables experience;
- Knowledge of the German power market is a plus;
- Experience in negotiating Power Purchase Agreements in the relevant markets;
- Effective partnership, coalition and consensus building skills;
- Good interpersonal, leadership and collaboration skills;
- Ability to travel (mostly NW Europe, but also North America and Middle East);
- Excellent business English (both spoken and written), German speaking is big plus.
