For many years, climate change has made it clear that we must engage into gradually phasing out fossil fuels. All organizations, especially those in Europe, need an urgent energy revolution given the current geopolitical climate. At TES, we believe that this is an unprecedented moment to tackle both energy security and climate neutrality.
Our goal is to open the door to a new, scalable energy system, entirely built on existing technology, that will operate for decades and provide access to an abundant and cost-effective supply of clean energy.
Our novel process relies on current, tried-and-true technologies while importing substantial amounts of reasonably priced renewable energy.We will transform sun and wind into sustainable and cost-effective eNG (electric natural gas), combining green H2 and circular CO2 and using existing infrastructure to deliver green, secure energy.
We are creating the world's largest green energy value chain.To deliver on its ambitions TES is currently building a world class top management team. In parallel the organization is growing from 50+ employees today to several hundred by the end of next year.
What you will do:
We are currently establishing a market intelligence and analytics eco-system at TES.
The eco-system will harness the power of our proprietary and public data to enable fast decision-making at various level of the organization (from asset maintenance planning to investment decision).
As part of this eco-system, the market analyst will analyze and interpret market information, build forward looking S/D and price forecasts based on latest studies and proprietary models for energy and emissions markets, validate modeling assumptions, preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.
The scope expands from Global energy markets (gas, power), environmental markets (guarantees of origin, carbon credits, renewables support schemes), to the new hydrogen derivatives markets (e-fuels, green hydrogen).
As a Market Analyst you will work with different functions in generating actionable insights and will be responsible for:
- Collecting Market info (collecting data, conducting pricing, technology and infrastructure development research), developing Supply/Demand model
- Analysing data to identify trends and patterns
- Monitoring policy developments at the local, national, and international levels that may affect TES' activities, and analyze the potential impacts
- Providing forecasts and projections for the gas, power, carbon and hydrogenrelated markets based on data analysis
- Preparing reports and presentations on market trends, policy developments, and technological innovations for clients and stakeholders
- Staying uptodate on the latest developments in the energy and hydrogen industries and conducting ongoing research to improve analysis and forecasting capabilities
- Collaborating with other team members, including engineers and financial analysts, to develop comprehensive market assessments for our products
- Communicating with clients and stakeholders to answer questions and provide information
- Within the ecosystem, support the setup and operation of the TES data operating system and modeling requirements

Who you are:
- Background in economics or engineering
- 2+ years experience as an energy market analyst in the energy industry
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail, meticulous
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
- Problemsolver and curious
- Ability to work independently
- Familiar with statistical software and complex data models
- Business acumen
- Flexibility
- Excellent English skills
