International Export Manager

- en kabelmarkt**. Hun doel bestaat erin producten en productprestaties te testen en te verbeteren (reverse innovation). De klanten die hun coating producten kopen of hierover consultancy krijgen zijn voornamelijk touwslagers & nettenmakers gesitueerd over verschillende continenten wereldwijd. Het gaat om o.a. toepassingen binnen de industrie, op boorplatformen of in de zeilsport. De bedrijfscultuur wordt gekenmerkt door mensgerichtheid en een op kwaliteit gerichte ondernemersgeest. Het huidige team is klein maar wendbaar en veerkrachtig. Vandaag zoeken zij binnen dit team, een **Export Manager**.
**De uitdaging**:
- I-Coats werkt samen met klanten en partners in de wereldwijde markten van vezels, netten en de touwindustrie.
- Als **Export Manager** sta je in voor de verdere ontwikkeling van het bedrijf. Enerzijds in de rol van technisch specialist en het bieden van ondersteuning aan de bestaande klantenmarkt. Anderzijds sta je in voor de uitbreiding en acquisitie van nieuwe klanten en partners internationaal.
- Je fungeert als technisch specialist waar je de klant begeleidt binnen de producten afhankelijk van de specifieke toepassing (gevlochten touwen, geslagen touwen, soorten vezel, treksterkte...)
- Gemiddeld twee keer per maand reis je naar het buitenland (Europa, Midden-Oosten, Azië, Amerika) om klantenrelaties te onderhouden en uit te bouwen.
- In markten waar I-Coats met agenten werkt, ben je verantwoordelijk voor de ontwikkeling van het agentschappennetwerk (momenteel in o.a. China, Indonesië, Thailand, Maleisië, Singapore, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Japan, Taiwan en Australië). Daarnaast zijn jouw directe contactpersonen de eigenaars van touwslagerijen en nettenbouwers.
- In deze functie rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de Managing Director van I-Coats NV.
**Wie zoeken we?**:
- Master of Bachelor binnen een economische of chemische richting.
- Affiniteit met textieltechniek of chemie is een meerwaarde.
- Een (eerste) ervaring in een internationale commerciële functie, bij voorkeur binnen B2B verkoop.
- Passie voor techniek en sales en de interesse om je te verdiepen in deze high end producten en niche markt.
- Een interesse in verschillende internationale, overzeese culturen en de ambitie om hiermee op een succesvolle manier zaken te doen.
- Een proactieve doe-mentaliteit typeert jou.
- Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in zowel het Nederlands, Engels en Frans. Spreek je ook Duits en/of Spaans, dan is dit mooi meegenomen.
