Functieomschrijving Wat wordt jouw uitdaging?Deze functie situeert zich in de afdeling Float waar dun tot extra dun vlakglas wordt geproduceerd. Dit glas van hoge kwaliteit wordt gebruikt in hoogtechnologische toepassingen en Automotive.
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het opstarten, uitwerken, opvolgen en valideren van het productieproces aan de koude kant van de Floatlijn en dit omvat het snijden, het stapelen, de stockage van het glas en de kwaliteitscontrole
- Het team Cold End, dat je op termijn direct en indirect gaat aansturen, omvat 5 ploegverantwoordelijken, een verantwoordelijke kwaliteit en een productieassistent koud glas; indirect omvat dit team een 100-tal medewerkers
- Je bent verantwoordelijk vanaf de start tot en met het borgen van elk project
- Samen met het team koud glas analyseer je welke verbeteropportuniteiten er zijn in de diverse processen
- Je stuurt verbeterteams aan en staat in voor de borging van de resultaten (opleiding, documentatie, KPI's,...)
- Je rapporteert aan de manager Float en werkt nauw samen met de productiemanager Hot End
- Je hebt een masterdiploma in de ingenieurswetenschappen en wil graag werken in een industriële omgeving
- Je hebt ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie en People management skills
- Je bent sterk in data gedreven analyses & nauwkeurig in je rapportering
- Je beschikt over sterke organisatorische vaardigheden en je weet prioriteiten te stellen
- Je werkt graag in een team naar een gezamenlijk doel toe en weet het beste uit medewerkers naar boven te halen
- Je bent flexibel en voelt je verantwoordelijk voor een correcte en tijdige realisatie van de projecten
- Je hebt goede communicatievaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels, Frans is een plus
