Join us as an Engineering Manager where you will lead a dynamic team of five developers and QA engineers, both remote and in-office. Your squad is currently focusing on the innovative Smart Audit feature, an AI-driven system crucial to our expense management platform.
You will be responsible for delivering scalable solutions using .NET and C#, managing the software development lifecycle, and contributing to the strategic vision of the team. Additionally, you will be involved hands-on in software development to ensure technical excellence and drive the team towards success.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative and fast-paced setting. Prior experience in an engineering management role is not necessary, as we provide coaching and support to help you excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver solutions in a microservice environment in collaboration with the engineering team
- Work closely with the product manager to prioritize features aligned with business objectives
- Conduct and engage in code reviews to ensure quality and conformity to standards
- Regularly participate in programming tasks to stay updated and contribute to the team's technical endeavors
- Eliminate organizational hurdles and facilitate communication with other teams for smoother delivery processes
- Experiment with Agile methodologies for iterative development enhancements
- Mentor team members, foster growth, and instill a culture of continuous learning
Requirements
- Proficiency in .NET, C#, and cloud-based solutions
- Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture, microservices, and communication patterns
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a long-term vision while delivering value iteratively addressing real customer needs
- Familiarity with Agile principles, emphasizing practical problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of Scrum or Kanban frameworks and Domain-driven Design approach is advantageous
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
