Your Mission

As a member of the Puratos Belux Management Team, your mission is clear: to ensure the company's financial performance and long-term sustainable growth. You'll be at the heart of our financial operations, collaborating closely with other shared departments at the Group level, including accounting, legal, and tax. Your role is not just about numbers; it's about shaping the future of our business.

What you will do
  • Strategic Collaboration and Motivation
    • Collaborate: Work closely with the Management Team to achieve financial targets and co-create long-term strategic plans. Your insights will be key to our success.
    • Motivate: Inspire your team to excel. Guide the local Pricing, Business Control & Credit Control colleagues towards achieving defined objectives.

    • Resource Stewardship: Ensure effective and efficient use of our company's financial resources to safeguard assets.
    • Proactive Solutions: Identify challenges and provide corrective actions, empowering accurate decision-making.
  • Macro-Objectives and Collaboration

  • Key Deliverables
Business Controlling, Pricing & Credit Control
  • Strategic Insights: Develop financial organizational strategies, analyze trends, and provide recommendations aligned with our objectives.
  • Data Mastery: Organize and manage financial data meticulously for reliable administration and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Challenge internal stakeholders to improve procedures while optimizing asset utilization and controlling expenditures.
  • Strategic Advisor: Assist the General Manager with financial and business matters to shape critical decisions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate on the annual budgeting process, analyze budgets, and prepare insightful reports.
  • Cash Management: Optimize cash flow in coordination with the Group treasury function to stay on track.
  • Pricing Strategies: Influence pricing strategies alongside the Business Control & Pricing Analyst for protecting margins and competitive pricing.
  • Chocolate Contract Expertise: Understand nuances of our chocolate contract business and enhance contract management where needed.
  • Alignment with Other Departments: Collaborate with departmental managers to ensure financial strategies align seamlessly with business objectives.
People Management
  • Lead by Example: Inspire excellence as the manager for the local Credit Control & Pricing Team, facilitating processes and appreciating the bigger picture.
  • Talent Development: Identify team strengths and opportunities, connecting contributions to overall success.

What we expect from you

Academic Degree

  • Master's degree

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years in a similar function with finance experience
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and digital savviness

Technical Skills

  • Business Acumen: Define and implement a finance strategy aligned with business priorities and goals.
  • Deep Knowledge: Accounting, general accounting, business controlling, reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Finance Management: Understand best practices in finance management.
  • Communication: Excellent English writing and communication skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and SAP, BI.
