With its global headquarters in Antwerp, Belgium, Manuchar is a leading ingredients/chemicals distributor & logistics service provider.
We operate in more than 35 emerging markets with our own local logistics assets and people providing ingredients and chemicals, storage, value-added logistics and just-in-time (JIT) deliveries in over 170 locations.
As part of our dynamic expansion in Eastern Europe, we recently opened a new office in Halandri, Athens.
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic commercial profiles to join our dynamic team that will build up the local business in our strategic focus industries; like human nutrition and animal nutrition markets of Greece.
Responsibilities:
- Developing ambitious and clear market development plans within your specialized endmarket such as animal nutrition, human nutrition,
- Mapping, making first connections and visiting our (potential) customer portfolio and expanding a strong network in the market.
- Managing all sales process from A to Z and working closely with operations team to ensure smooth service to our clients
- Documenting and reporting market information in a clear and structured manner to regional business development management and country management.
- Designing a balanced portfolio that builds on our strengths as a company with a global procurement network as well as our local logístical strengths.
- Interfacing daily with other departments to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner and to provide a firstclass service to our customers
Profile:
- A bachelor's degree and +5 years of relevant working experience in the human or animal nutrition ingredients industry with proven records.
- Experience and ability to work in chemicalsfood ingredients distribution market
- Eager to learn and acquire knowledge in view of longerterm career prospects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
- An existing network in your specialized endmarket is definitely an advantage.
- Highly driven and organized, with "go extra mile" mindset and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to ensure an optimal relationship with both internal and external contacts.
- You are resident in Greece.
