Scope:

As the EHS Specialist, your primary focus spans all facets of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) with a practical application angle. This encompasses providing expert guidance across EHS domains, conducting tailored training sessions, and overseeing on-site inspections.


Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Development of safety instruction cards for chemical products along with imparting thorough training sessions to staff.
  • Conducting routine inspections and sensitizing personnel on safety, health, and environmental protocols (such as PPE compliance and operational methodologies).
  • Enhancing PPE management protocols including task-specific gear, optimizing change procedures, and overseeing PPE inventory.
  • Performing CMR assessments, identifying discrepancies, and formulating corrective action strategies.
  • Identifying training needs in safety, health, and environmental aspects, designing training modules, delivering sessions, and monitoring efficacy.
  • Regular audits for CLP compliance and material labeling standards.
  • Playing a pivotal role in the MOC process with an external perspective.
  • Driving sustainable initiatives for safety, environmental protection, and health enhancement.
  • Providing informed guidance on safety, environmental, and health-related queries and supporting teams in implementing recommended measures.

Technical Profile Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in integral safety or Level 2 Prevention Advisor certification.
  • Background in safety and health policy, ideally within an industrial setting.
  • Proficient communication skills (written and oral).
  • Ability to conduct training sessions effectively.

Non-Technical Profile Requirements:
  • Possess critical and analytical thinking abilities with a proactive mindset.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative approach.

Certificates:
  • Bachelor's degree in integral safety and/or Level 2 Prevention Advisor certification.

Location:
  • Olen

Additional Information:
  • Immediate joining preferred. However, flexibility during summer vacations is accommodated.
