Produce Programs:
- Create Machining, Probing, and Processing programs according to Manufacturing Engineer specifications, while staying within budget and time constraints.
- Follow procedures and traceability requirements diligently.
- Utilize CAD/CAM platforms (such as Catia V5, Delmia, etc.) based on master programs and modification requests.
- Post-process outputs using available post-processors.
- Recommend enhancements to manufacturing methods/strategies.
- Enhance programs by leveraging suitable software (MAchPro, etc.).
Verify and Deliver Programs:
- Ensure compliance of programs with procedures and traceability standards.
- Establish Verification platform (Vericut, Delmia, etc.) projects.
- Validate tool data in Tool Data Management (TDM) systems and libraries.
- Conduct program checks as per established procedures.
- Create and share necessary documentation for the shop floor and other relevant departments.
- Grant production access to programs and essential outputs.
Support:
- Assist various departments in resolving program-related issues to ensure seamless production flow.
- Engage in defining processes.
- Assist manufacturing engineers during program testing phases.
- Offer shop floor assistance as required.
- Identify procedural gaps and report them to the Section Leader/Lead Programmer/Application Engineer.
- Review and give feedback on programs developed offshore.
Education:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field) or possess equivalent experience working with CNC machines.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in computers.
Languages: French and/or Dutch, English.Skills / Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Solid technical background in machining processes.
- Show attention to detail, organizational skills, independence, and proactive attitude.
- Preferably have experience in NC-programming (CATIA), with a minimum of 6 months of active work in CATIA V5.
- Experience with simulation programs (VERICUT) is advantageous.
- Experience in machining hard metals, particularly aerospace components, is desirable.
- Display interest in CNC programming languages and computer systems.
