Job Summary:
The Training coordinator/programme manager will co-develop, implement, and ensure the running of training programs for European Public Affairs professionals, both in public and private sector.
Furthermore, ETI and EPPA publish the 'Comitology Newsletter' and contributions in terms of writing or further developing the distribution and promotion of the newsletter can also be include in the assigned tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assesses training and development needs through interviews, and communication with partners and staff. This requires a minimum understanding of the EU scene;
- Contributes to the development of training programs contentwise and from a pedagogic point of view to fulfill training needs of public and private staff dealing with the EU at international, European, national or regional level;
- Implements training programs including assistance in development of marketing activities, preparation of material for training, function as main contact person for participants, logístical/technical assistance during trainings, followup actions after training,
- Assists in the development of marketing materials for ETI and the animation of the ETI Alumni network;
- Supports in the development of ETI partnerships (notably with Henley Business School);
- Evaluates training programmes' effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback and makes suggestions for improvement/change;
- Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development;
- Ability to explore funding opportunities in relation to vocational training and professional development;
- Other related duties as required, including development and contentcontribution to the Comitology Newsletter.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational & project management skills
- Basic understanding of the European Union
- Adept with a variety of IT/multimedia training platforms and methods
- Ability to provide input in the design of training programmes
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
- Good command of English and French (other languages are a plus)
