Context:


Reporting to the Head of Performance Management (CFO division), you will operate and maintain a Cost Management model and system throughout the company.

You will coordinate the budget, forecast & monitor of expenses (direct & indirect) for all entities & business lines of the DP Group, thereby assisting the business units, the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee in the decision making and the realization of their cost containment objectives.


Your Position:

  • Leading your team, you establish an integrated Cost Management model at group level reflecting the entire organization, fully reconciled with consolidated accounts in order to establish a centralized and harmonized standard cost model across the group;
  • You assume ownership for expenses reporting norms and standards for the group and define allocation keys to establish appropriate and consistent results by business line. This includes endtoend responsibility for the indirect cost allocation process for all DP Group activities;
  • You manage and maintain a cost tool in order to automate reporting to generate a consolidated reporting & variance analysis for the Bank and per business unit and efficiently report on all expenses;
  • As a business partner, you support and provide advice to the business units, challenge them to continuously optimize cost levels, animate review meetings and be a business partner for specific expenses reporting & analysis needs. You follow up with Budget owners on cost actuals and trends. You assist and challenge Budget owners in the preparation of yearly expenses budget and quarterly forecasts;
  • As a project manager, you define, drive and manage the predictability processes including budget and forecast cycles for the organization and challenge business units on the setting of relevant expenses budget targets and the monitoring of their realization;
  • You liaise with Procurement Officer, Business Purchasers and Accounts Payable to ensure Business Control data requirements are met as from purchase requests and support the expenses provisioning process;

As people manager, you will:

  • Coach and develop your team members in order to efficiently deploy competences, skills and knowhow and to function as a harmonious and results oriented team;
  • Coordinate and organize the activities of the team in line with priorities, available resources and competences; you define and optimize procedures and workflow processes;
  • Ensure and coordinate the implementation and use of the appropriate tools to work as efficient as possible;
  • Define objectives (team level as well as individual level) for and with the team in order to evaluate the team and its performance.

Your Profile:

  • You hold a master degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other equivalent;
  • You can look back upon at least 10 years of experience in performance management, in consulting in the financial sector environment of which at least 5 years where you were successfully leading a team;
  • You are a team player and an excellent people manager with leadership skills;
  • You are agile and have proven experience in guiding teams through challenging times of change and migration;
  • As project manager, you have also the right skill set and experience in leading projects;
  • You are stressresistant and remain constructive in all situations and circumstances;
  • You are rigorous and structured;
  • You are bilingual Dutch-French with good knowledge of English;
  • You have strong analytical skills and a critical mindset;
  • Being a good communicator, you have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to translate figures into clear synthetic reporting and critical advice for internal and external stakeholders;
  • It is in your nature to continuously strive towards more efficiency and more quality and you communicate constructively on your ideas and suggestions.
