je takenpakket is het ontwerpen, ontwikkelingen, en onderhouden van test automatiserings-oplossingen. Het richt zich op de concepten, methoden, tools en processen voor het automatiseren van dynamische functionele tests en de relatie van deze tests tot testbeheer, -configuratiebeheer, defectbeheer, softwareontwikkelingsprocessen en kwaliteitsborging.
De beschreven methoden zijn algemeen toepasbaar in verschillende software lifecycle benaderingen (bijvoorbeeld agile, sequentieel, incrementeel, iteratief), soorten softwaresystemen (bv. embedded, gedistribueerd, mobiel) en testtypes (functionele en niet-functionele testen).
De volgende aspecten zijn complementair voor de test automator:
Testmanagement, het geautomatiseerd opstellen van testspecificaties en het geautomatiseerd genereren van tests. Het plannen, begeleiden en bijsturen van de ontwikkeling en de evolutie van test automatiseringsoplossingen. Specifieke kenmerken van het automatiseren van niet-functionele tests (bv. performantie, security). Automatisering van statische analyse (bv. vulnerability analyse) en statische testtools. Het aanleren van software engineering methoden en programmering (bv. welke standaarden te gebruiken en welke vaardigheden voor het realiseren van een test automatiseringsoplossing nodig zijn). Het aanleren van softwaretechnologieën (bv. welke scriptingtechnieken te gebruiken voor het uitvoeren van een test automatiseringsoplossing). Selectie van producten en diensten voor het testen van software (bv. welke producten en diensten moeten worden gebruikt voor een test automatiseringsoplossing).Profielomschrijving
