Wat je doet - last minute rockstar
Goederentreinen op de rails krijgen is een optelsom van heel wat variabelen: beschikbare locomotieven, aanwezige chauffeurs, vrije sporen,Al die zaken kunnen perfect van tevoren gepland worden - en dat doen we ook. Maar bijna altijd doorkruisen externe factoren of last-minute wijzigingen die planning. En dan hebben we nood aan een snelle denker die ook snel handelt. Iemand die kordate en correcte beslissingen neemt zodat we de beloften naar onze klanten kunnen waarmaken - wat er ook gebeurt.
- Treinen samenstellen - Je bouwt voort op het werk van je collega's die de planning voor de lange en korte termijn opmaken. Je volgt op of de door hen samengestelde treinen nog zoals gepland kunnen rijden, en past aan waar nodig.
- Real-time bijsturen - Op je computerscherm krijg je alle informatie over de treinen en hun reisroute door. Naast je rinkelt de telefoon om onvoorziene wijzigingen door te geven. Achter je wacht je collega op jouw actie om de klant te kunnen informeren. Jij bestudeert kalm de situatie, zoekt gericht naar alternatieven en opties, en neemt de juiste beslissing.
Heel snel bijleren - De planning van een trein is een complexe en unieke taak, die je alleen on-the-job kan leren. Dat doe je met de hulp van ervaren collega's. Maar gaandeweg leer je ook heel veel over het sporennet en over de mogelijkheden van onze treinen. Dat geeft je heel veel carrièrekansen binnen het bedrijf.
Omdat onze treinen op alle momenten van de dag (en nacht) rijden, werk je in een 3 x 8-ploegensysteem.
Wie je bent - snelle beslisser en denker
- Je moet een snelle en oplossingsgerichte denker zijn. Je hebt geen tijd om stil te staan of te jammeren om problemen want iedereen kijkt naar jou voor een oplossing. En dat is precies het moment waarop jouw creatieve geest het verschil maakt.
- Een bachelordiploma (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring)
- Teamspirit is cruciaal: zonder je collega's en je partners kan je helemaal niets aanvangen in deze rol. Die collega's zitten soms naast je aan de tafel, maar kunnen ook verantwoordelijken zijn in een klein goederenstation ergens halfweg tussen Keulen en Hamburg.
- Je neemt graag je verantwoordelijkheid op en bent niet bang voor initiatief.
- Je bent communicatief, spreekt vlot Nederlands, Frans en Engels, en hebt een goede kennis van het Duits of wil dit snel bijleren.
