About the job
As a Sr.

PRGM manager, you play a crucial role in the development of sustainable and profitable value growth for Danone and the customer through the 4 PRGM levers:
promo, pricing, trade terms and mix management. You
understand what drives profitable growth and how we can
optimize it.

You master
financial KPI's and combined with other data resources you give the most optimal recommendations on
promo plans, tariff, pricing & retailer conditions. You work closely together with all internal departments involved in the PRGM processes.

Your key responsibilities within this role will be the following:

Promo management:

  • Drive promotional planning & analysis processes
  • Lead the strategic design of national and tailormade plan in line with key objectives of every brand and retailer
  • Define budget needs and optimization possibilities
  • Drive the overall understanding of promo objectives and KPIs within sales and marketing
  • Drive promo performance communication internally
  • Directly engage with top 3 customers to drive strategy into execution during customers' business reviews

Pricing & trade terms management:

  • Drive the CPI recommendations per category, taking into account internal profitability, price elasticity and external competitive landscape
  • Be the SPOC and key user of price elasticity tracking tool Buynomics and bring the output to the correct forums & strategic processes to drive price elasticity knowledge across the organization, in close collaboration with Sr. catmans
  • Build and streamline retailer margin trackers, educate and empower KAM team to define margin optimization opportunities
  • Be the sparring partner of Top 3 KAMs for financial impact of negotiation decisions and look into customer trade terms optimization opportunities in close collaboration with KAM
  • Take over ODCP ownership and responsibilities after go live, closely monitoring to be implemented opportunities
  • Contribute to the buildup of accurate and reliable customer P&Ls per category through proper allocation of TTs in net5

Product mix management:

  • Push the most profitable products (through assortment, shelving and activation) and customers in close collaboration with category managers and key account managers
  • Ensure timely & correct data delivery on pricing and promotional topics in category (GPS) meetings and manage PRGM risks & opportunities in the GPS process
About you

  • A strong analytical mindset, an excellent understanding of the P&L and key PRGM levers to drive both top and bottom line growth
  • Strong IT skills, esp. in Excel, Power BI, experience with promo planning systems is a plus
  • A critical strategic thinker, who is also datadriven and detail oriented
  • A cando attitude, be proactive, continuously strive for excellence & data accuracy
  • Be creative, think outside the box
  • Proven leadership experience and can motivate and galvanize a newly formed team
  • Have strong communication skills internally and externally
  • Have a high ability to work in cross functional teams
