Team/division description
***The Advanced Technology division is responsible for creating cutting edge technology breakthroughs which meet the future challenges of the automotive industry and bring a smile to our customers' faces. By combining in-house research activities with a wide research network across Europe, we conceive, incubate and test novel concepts in virtual and real-world environments before they are handed downstream towards future product development.
Your project
New concepts for processing high resolution images efficiently
You will be working in our team of researchers developing, evaluating and integrating various technologies based on machine learning and computer vision.
More specifically, you will investigate new concepts to allow fast and efficient processing of high resolution images by neural networks on embedded devices.
Your tasks will include:
- Evaluate and benchmark new concepts
- Ensure smooth integration of newly developed models
Your Profile:
- You are fluent in English (TME's business language)
- You are a Master's or PhD student in computer science, physics, mathematics or engineering or can demonstrate equivalent scientific proficiencies
- You have experience in creating, training, finetuning and deploying machine learning models
- You are proficient in coding and have experience in software development
Technical proficiency of:
- Python is a must, C++ is an asset
- PyTorch, Keras, TensorFlow, any on these is a must, more is an asset
- Familiarity with Ubuntu Linux is a must
- Knowledge of CUDA and OpenCV is an asset
- Knowledge of Docker and git is an asset
- Practical experience with embedded hardware is an asset
