To reinforce our Contract & Procurement Team, we are looking for a
Contract Lawyer.

Your role:


As a Contract Lawyer, you will support and assist the business development and technology departments in the (pre-)development and, if successful, in the subsequent construction of the offshore wind farm, from A to Z, and ensure compliance with statutory laws, permit and procurement requirements, company policies, rules and guidelines.

More specifically, you will form part of a dedicated project team and be in charge of all contractual matters.

You will provide support to the project team, in the fulfilment of the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Tender management;
  • Contract negotiations;
  • Drafting a variety of contracts for the development and construction of an offshore wind farm (e.g. supply contracts, contract for offshore services, transport & installation contracts, etc.);
  • Contract management;
  • Risk management and risk mitigation;
  • Claim management and claim avoidance;
  • Stakeholder management;
  • Knowledge management;
  • Projectrelated communication.

Your profile:

  • You have a master's degree in law with a strong interest for energy & construction law;
  • You have min. 5 years relevant working experience;
  • Working experience within the industry or other relevant sector is a plus;
  • You are a motivated team player and yet able to work autonomously;
  • You have good communication and reporting skills;
  • You are fluent in English and have good drafting skills.
