As the Budget & Planning Lead at MediaMarkt BeNeLux, your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at optimizing our marketing campaigns and budget activities.

With your expertise in defining, planning, controlling, and evaluating these initiatives, you will play a vital role in driving both the internal operations and enhancing the customer experience.


What are you going to do?:

  • Take part in the alignment and planning of national sales campaigns and brand initiatives;
  • Translate the company's commercial planning into the yearly Marketing planning by determining promotional, branding and content activities for all 3 countries;
  • Run optimal communication flows between all involved departments and stakeholders before, during and after the rollout of Marketing campaigns;
  • Sporadically assist the operational teams to secure timely execution during peak moments;
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness, define and share improvement opportunities (both for local and global campaigns);
  • Manage Analytics & Business Performance with regards to Marketing activities;
  • Take ownership of the countries' consumer research, brand tracking and market competitor analysis;
  • Present Marketing output and insights to designated stakeholders in a structured and recurrent way;
  • Challenge and improve existing reporting processes and analyse need for new insights;
  • Organize and moderate all local and international reporting needs;
  • Monitor and steer the countries' Marketing budget allocation;
  • You are part of the passionate Brand & Campaign Marketingteam that works together on the communication strategy, Marketing operations and classical media planning/buying for our omnichannel campaigns such as Black Friday, Back to School, VAT and many more for the 3 markets;

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or equivalent, with a solid understanding of commercial or financial principles.
  • Focused on getting things done, selfstarter, organizationally strong;
  • Able to prioritize highimpact activities;
  • Possessing advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, you can effectively analyze data, create impactful reports, and develop persuasive presentations;
  • While not mandatory, previous experience in project management is considered advantageous. Your ability to coordinate and lead projects can contribute to the successful execution of initiatives;
  • Strong communicator and stakeholder management at all organizational levels;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English. French would be considered a plus;
