Context:
Part of the team responsible for the full ERP system globally, working with
SAP ECC 6.0, aiming at kicking off a migration towards
SAP S/4HANA in a strategic project.
The chosen approach is Bluefield approach - going for mínimal transformation, trying to reuse as match as possible from the past (only the mandatory changes and the non-regret moves).
A system integrator has been chosen, there is already a plan, milestones, teams in place but there are few resources that are still missing, hence the purpose of this recruitment.
There is a series of functional leads for manufacturing, QA, Supply chain, Finance, Procurement (the functional verticals)There is a series of technical teams and for one of them we're currently recruiting (the date workstream team).
Looking for a Data Workstream Lead as of beginning of February.
The hiring manager foresees to have this resource for 2 years (until the end of Two waves have been defined:
- First wave: Technical foundation taking the
SAP ECC, moving to a new box and doing the migration towards the new technology
S/4HANA not expected to do many technical enhancements there, they want to keep their license to operate, which is the focus of the Wave 1 going live beginning of August 202 - Second wave: dedicated to the transformation on the ERP system
There are loads of data - sometimes not super clean either, the aim is not to migrate all the historical data towards
S/4HANA, only what will be open for 2024 and 2025.
Task / Daily activities:
- Help define the strategy behind that data migration together with the system integrator, to look at all of the milestones and phases that has been already put down on a plan, to validate them as well and to further detail the planning with all the subactivities.
- The system integrator will be doing the bulk of the work.
- There will be some activities on data cleaning in collaboration with the functional workstreams
Conclusion:
strategy, follow up and chasing, the reporting, escalations, organizing workshops is expected for this role
55 people on a daily basis sitting around together (+ those working from India)
At least 10-15 years of experience in data migration
At least 3 Must have:
- Experience with migration from
SAP ECC to
SAP S/4HANA who can come with handson experience and best practices, who understands the technical tools that are available, understanding of how data can be cleansed (knowledge of the technology behind and the processes related to data)
English (both oral and written) - the main language of communication across the programme
- Someone who has already worked in a validated environment (GXP/GMP knowledge)
- Project management experience (not project coordinator), acting as a business analyst driving the programme
- Proactivity + being able to take responsibility
- Experience with
SNP CrystalBridge: - At least 1015 years of experience in data migration
